A bigger view of God
A right understanding of worship begins with seeing God for who He is. When our view of God is too small, we are more likely to place our trust in things that cannot provide what only he can give.

- Worship is revealed by where we place our confidence.
- What we depend on for security, identity or satisfaction can become an object of worship.
- An idol is anything we trust to give us what only God can give us.
- Idols can take many forms and do not have to be physical objects.
- Success, our kids, pride and our phone can become idols when we look to them for what belongs to God alone.
- Dethroning does not happen with apathy, but with fidelity.
- Removing idols requires more than simply caring less about them.
- Faithfulness to God means actively giving Him the trust, worship and allegiance that belong to Him.
