Living for what lasts

A call to courageous faith that reflects Jesus through obedience, everyday witness and trust in God rather than personal knowledge or technique.

Why we do hard things

  1. We don’t do hard things because they are hard, but because they are worth it.
    • Obedience often involves discomfort, risk or sacrifice.
    • Worth is measured by faithfulness to Jesus, not personal ease or success.
    • The Great Commission calls believers to action, not convenience.
  2. Evangelism doesn’t start with a method, but with a transformed life.
    • Changed lives create credibility before words are spoken.
    • The man healed in John 9 pointed to what Jesus had done, not a system or script.
    • Faith that is lived out invites curiosity and honest questions.
  3. You don’t need to know everything; Start with the basics and grow in the rest.
    • God uses obedience more than expertise.
    • Sharing personal experience with Jesus is a powerful starting point.
    • Growth in understanding comes through practice, humility and time.

Tactics

  1. Pray and look for opportunities.
    • Ask God to open eyes to people and moments He is already preparing.
    • Prayer aligns the heart with God’s mission rather than personal agendas.
  2. Sow seeds and trust the Lord.
    • Not every conversation leads to immediate results.
    • God is responsible for growth; believers are responsible for faithfulness.
  3. Live in such a way that people want to hear you.
    • Character and conduct support the message being shared.
    • A life marked by hope, integrity and love creates space for the gospel.

Insight

  • Eternal value often requires uncomfortable obedience.
  • Transformed lives speak before words are shared.
  • Faithful witness starts simple and grows with practice.
  • God carries the results; believers carry the call.
